[White Matte Bark Canister / Black Matte Bark Canister]

This is one of the projects that reexamines birch crafts from a modern perspective and updates them into a craft with contemporary appeal. The bark is painted with a matte white or black paint to bring out the organic unevenness of the bark. This makes it possible to use materials that were difficult to use in traditional birch crafts, and makes effective use of limited resources. The interior is finished using traditional methods, and the traditional red polished color creates a beautiful contrast with the exterior.
