Tokyo International Gift Show Spring 2024 is an exhibition of renovation, design and manufacturing that designs homes from a way of life.
We will exhibit [Kansei Wall Panel] at the LIVING & DESIGN 2024.
Following its unveiling at Maison & Objet Paris, the world's leading interior design trade fair, held in Paris from 18 (Thu) to 23 (Tue) January 2024, this will be the first time the product has been shown in Japan.
【Background】In January 2023, designer Mauricio Clavero Kozlowski and TOMIOKA had a meeting to exchange ideas about the wall covering panels of Kaba-zaiku (Cherry bark craft), a traditional Japanese craft. This led to a full-scale launch of this project in September 2023.
【Features】The wild, yet delicate and calm expression of Cherry bark is combined with Mr. Mauricio Clavero Kozlowski's creative design. It creates a scene of life surrounded by nature. We will develop items that will "attract at first sight" even those who have never heard of Kaba-zaiku before.This system provides many patterns, and in combination with the "Cherry bark," which each have their own unique expression, offers "the joy of choosing" and "the joy of living in your favorite space, the only one in the world."
