TOMIOKA will present [Sensitive wall covering panels] at Maison & Objet, which will be held from January 18-23, 2024.

【Background】
In January 2023, designer Mauricio Clavero Kozlowski and TOMIOKA had a meeting to exchange ideas about the wall covering panels of Kaba-zaiku (Cherry bark craft), a traditional Japanese craft. This led to a full-scale launch of this project in September 2023.

【Features】
The wild, yet delicate and calm expression of Cherry bark is combined with Mr. Mauricio Clavero Kozlowski's creative design. It creates a scene of life surrounded by nature. We will develop items that will "attract at first sight" even those who have never heard of Kaba-zaiku before.
This system provides many patterns, and in combination with the "Cherry bark," which each have their own unique expression, offers "the joy of choosing" and "the joy of living in your favorite space, the only one in the world."
