Cutlery rests are engraved, colored, and polished cherry bark. Cherry bark is a sturdy and flexible material. Various forms of artistic expressions are possible through the polishing of the bark alone. The original wood grain can be kept to enhance the natural feel, and the bark can be polished to give a deep reddish-purple luster. The engraved features draw out the inherent beauty of cherry bark.
