Not only is lean beef relatively low in calories, it is also rich in nutrients that can help you lose weight. It is rich in protein, L-carnitine, and iron. Protein, in particular, helps build muscle and increase basal metabolism.
L-carnitine also promotes the burning of fat. Iron increases hemoglobin in the blood and improves circulation, which helps prevent anemia and improve swelling.
      

Anti-aging foodstuffs  Lean Beef


<Ingredients> For 4servings

300 g lean beef
1/4 teaspoon salt
Olive oil to taste  

<For garnish>    
Seasonal vegetables as needed

<Sauce>
1/2 onion
1/2 apple
1 clove garlic
100 ml soy sauce
100ml mirin (sweet cooking rice wine)
100ml sake
20g sugar  


<How to Cook>

1. Cover the beef at room temperature with salt and olive oil, place in a storage bag, and boil in hot water at 55°C for 3 hours, taking care to remove the air and keep the temperature the same.

2. Grate the onion, apple, and garlic, add soy sauce, mirin, sake, and sugar, and heat until reduced to about 1/3 of its volume.

3. Boil the potatoes for garnish, mash them while hot, and mix them with butter and milk to make a smooth mixture.

4. Boil seasonal vegetables.

5.When the roast beef is cooked, brown both sides in a frying pan.

6.Slice the beef and place on a plate, garnish with the accompanying vegetables and sauce.
