New project, a total of 44 anti-ageing recipes are presented together with serving dishes using kaba-zaiku.
We hope that everyone interested in cooking will enjoy our anti-aging recipies and our Kaba-zaiku tableware.
 

Sweet potatoes contain high levels of calcium, vitamin C, and potassium, which form bones and teeth. In addition, the starch it contains helps to keep the vitamin C from being destroyed when cooked.
They are also full of fiber, making them a superfood that has the best parts of both vegetables and grains.
Sweet potatoes, which are eaten as a sweet treat, can be made into a cute hedgehog shape.


Anti-aging foodstuffs  Sweet Potato


<Ingredients> For 2 servings

1 sweet potato
1 egg yolk
20 g agave syrup*
5 g butter       
40 ml soy milk
Cocoa to taste
A dash of black sesame seeds
An additional egg yolk (As an egg wash)

*Agave syrup can be substituted with sugar or honey.



<How to Cook>

1. Peel sweet potatoes and cut into 1 cm cubes.

2. Put the cubes into in a pot and cook until tender.

3. Drain the water from 2 and mash in a bowl until smooth.

4. Mix step 3 with 1 egg yolks, agave syrup, butter and soy milk.

5. Remove a small amount of the mixture from step 4, and stair in the cocoa powder dissolved with a little water.

6. Roll 4 into a suitably sized oval, slightly pointed at the face.

7. Cut the back with small scissors or tweezers to make hedgehog hair.

8. Use the potato mixed with cocoa powder to make a nose, and add eyes with black sesame seeds.

9. Brush the surface with egg yolk and bake in the oven at 200C for 12 minutes.
